In 2005, following a generous donation of $100,00 (US), the ABC were able to purchase the above building (Baptist House).

This paved the way for the ABC concept of the Centre for Christian Studies in Nazareth being a place of excellence in theological, cultural and organisational learning which in turn promotes unity and reconciliation.

In 2006, Rev Dr Bryson Arthur, pictured here with his wife May, settled in Israel to to head the Nazareth Center for Christian Studies.

October 2006, Bryson wrote

"In our first three months in Nazareth I visited many of the ABC Pastors and leaders and began, or continued, relationships with them in respect of the ABC Vision for NCCS. We began our first, informal, course for pastors on the topic of "a Theology of Preaching" in July. As we began our course the rockets started falling on Israel but nonetheless we still had a number of pastors attend, from other denominations as well as Baptist."

This exciting project is well under way, working with other organisations: Spurgeons College (London), Bethlehem Bible College, Jordan Evangelical School of Theology, Israel College of the Bible (Jerusalem). St Georges College (Jerusalem). Nairobi International School of Theology (Kenya), Aberdeen University (Aberdeen, Scotland), International Christian College (Glasgow, Scotland), Interserve (Cyprus and Scotland), Christian Missionary Society (England), Edinburgh Missionary Society - Nazareth Hospital, Nazareth Village.

Please pray for the work to be done and the ministry of the Centre for Christian Studies in Nazareth.
