MTh in Theology, Ministry and Practice

Fully Funded Course

This Masters in Ministry, Theology and Practice is intended for pastoral professionals (not necessarily ordained), to develop and enhance their abilities in congregational ministry, culturally relevant hermeneutics and preaching, creative approaches to ministry, and freedom of inquiry in theological doctrine.

There is full funding available for the course at the University of Glasgow for Protestant Dissenting ministers who are resident in England, Wales and NI. It is a taught, professional MTh for those with ministry experience and runs over 2 years part time. Most of it is online, with very occasional one-day in-class sessions in either London or Glasgow.

Who we are

We have a team of four Regional Ministers, led by Lisa Kerry, alongside Mary Moody, Nathan Toseland and Andrew Openshaw. Andrew is also the association secretary. Our moderator is Maureen Hider and our treasurer is Roy Farrant. Jane Day is the course tutor for The Learning Collective.

What we do

We support ministers and churches by 'walking together in ministry and mission'. This includes providing pastoral care for ministers, advice to churches, guiding the settlement process, encouraging churches in their mission, providing training opportunities, encouraging networking, talking ecumenically, and offering small grants.
